Wa. Im just the correct person to go London with. Cool!!!! *In a small voice* we can go to the filming sites of Harry Potter! And Italy must be included in the itinerary leh. And of cuz France as well, cuz we gotta be there to get our LVs!
3 countries, ten days leave and two weekends…make up 14 days.
Perfect for a Europe trip.
Onz?
Ive actually checked with Song and DY previously if they are interested to go Liverpool next year. But they both feedback that Year 2009 might be a better year to go Europe… so I guess I will just look around for other traveling companions.
Btw Pinky, L asked if we would like to join him and CL on their next trip to Japan in Apr. I already said NO to him and that both you and me, we are definitely going to Japan this Dec. Despite not going there in the best of season and according to L, expensive place to visit for snow viewing.
Heck.
We just want to be there, right?
White xmas!!

I thought this might be interesting enough to share:
I mentioned I was at Jade restaurant at Fullerton having lunch and celebrating my colleague’s birthday yesterday.
It’s a restaurant that serves Chinese food and at the most premium pricing among the Tung Lok Group restaurant.
Years back when I was doing my Paper 2.5 (A paper on accounting standards), the future-to-be-Dr Kwan is my lecturer den, and he encouraged us by offering a prize to the number-one scholar for this paper- A meal with him at Jade Fullerton!
Ok good enough I reckon, not dining at the restaurant only but also to be able to eat with him! My new target was set immediately. Haha. But but but, I eventually didn’t get what I aimed for, but simply scrape pass the paper with a mere 58 mark.
But deeply embossed in my head, one day, maybe I can have the chance to dine at Jade too,… meal at Jade, meal at Jade, meal at Jade with James. Hahahaha. And I was so excited the first time I was going to dine at Jade for a work lunch months back. (Yesterday was the second time). And anyway, the food:
Nearly all of us we had the set lunch, which consists of 6 dishes of dim sum, fish, prawns, veggies, shark fin soup (all at a miserably small but really really delicious portion) and some sort of coconut almond cream paste for dessert priced at S$68.00 per set, accompanied by a glass of fruit juice at S$8.80 and refillable Oolong tea at S$3.80. We also ordered an additional 3-prawns with wasabi mayo at S$12.00 per plate. Simply delicious and yummy the food, and I reckon it taste even better because its all charged to the company’s account!
Total per pax is about S$109.
Only thing is that, I didn’t get to dine with James.

Just back from the airport. Went to send off a close ger fren of mine who's seconded to London for 1.5yrs. Will miss this gd fren of mine! Had mixed feeling for her when we were at the airport and also when i was on the way back home...
Hopefully i can set London in my next yr's holiday itinery!! Anyone gg London for holiday, do ask me along yah~ I'll gladly save up my moolahs and leave(pathetic leave i have).
Antares: Okie, we'll try to rem all the places we visit when we are dere! Why Japan for Xmas? Simple reason. Japan is my DreaM country for the past 7 yrs!!
Haha.. And i don't really fancy Korea since they r neither friendly nor english-speaking(how to communicate rite? whatever la.). At least u can find more pple who speaks English in Japan? ;p Also, its a beautiful country to spend Xmas in!
(PS: The author loves cold weather and she wonders why on earth is she born in such a warm country like SG. lol...)
I can't wait for Dec to come fast. Coz by mid Dec, i would have finished my exam which of course meant that i can say bye to future-to-be-Dr Kwan's tortur-ous teaching(provided i pass at first attempt and that i'm determined to do just tat) and that i'll be gg to Japan real soon. =D

Random Thots
It has been a long and tiring Sat for me. Many more such Sats to come till end of Nov. Having ACCA class from 9am to 7pm, with a 30mins lunch break and a 2 15mins toilet break. This lecturer of mine believes in torturing students for their very own good. He says and i quote:
A student must always work harder than the lecturer. Never the other way round. That's the principle in studying. Just like me, i work harder than my Professor!
(PS: He's studying for his PhD now. Right, cel?)
Me and Celeste aka Pinky and the Brain(cel, i sacrifice be Pinky lar) are in the midst of planning our Dec'07 Tokyo/Osaka/Kyoto 8Days trip, as u all would have know by now. Hahz.
Let me share some interesting facts~ hee...
This is the MRT map of Tokyo alone. How not to "get lost" there on our own u tell me?
http://www.tokyometro.jp/rosen/rosenzu/pdf/rosen_eng.pdf
One of those cheap accomodation in Tokyo, ard S$30/nite. Would u want to try this to save the money?
My first thot: Biang, we are laundry or doggies isit? lol...

Doubt i can stand the thot of sleeping in such an enclosed place. ;p
This egg machine features farm fresh eggs:

Dare to buy? Hahz..
Ten kilo bags of rice be purchased from this machine. It features eight different varieties for $30-40. Impressed?

Last but not least, i guess most of the guys here would wish Sg has it as well: http://www.zombiezodiac.com/rob/ped/vending/condom_vending.JPG

accomo in philippines
Some views of manila ..... i took them from the restaurant at pan pacific... the breakfast is on the 21st storey...
Actualli philippines is not a bad place to visit.... onli thing is the air n traffic is bad... especialli in manila ... too much air pollution .... n so many cars tat u take 1hour to travel less dan 10km or even 5....
This is the room of microtel hotel.... its jus like wat u c now plus a toilet beside.... nothing else... no internet... no fridge... no thermal flask.... jus a bed and tv...
This is Parque Espania. Bedroom with TV (u cant c it in the pic cos its in the corner)... there is living room and kitchen... they also haf dvd player in the bedroom.... there is also another part of the living room with dinning table which i did not upload the pics here.
This is bellevue.... probably the reason its 4 star and above hotel... the setup at the lobby is grand n cozy with pretty receptionist.... the room as u can c is quite big.... plus free broadband in the room....
The toilet of pan pacific hotel.... can u c the small tv in the corner.... no wonder u pay so much for jus 1 nite... but its cheaper dan bellevue by USD5....
